Purpose

Hormone Health Desk publishes educational comparisons of online men’s hormone and TRT telehealth programs. We are an educational publisher, not a clinic. We do not provide medical advice, dosing guidance, prescriptions, or treatment recommendations. We do not “book a consult.” Nothing on this site is a substitute for care from a licensed clinician who knows your history.

This page explains how we build Top 10+ rankings so readers can audit our criteria. Order reflects how programs meet the disclosed criteria on publicly available information as of the access dates we cite—not a promise that any program fits every reader, and not a predetermined placement for any brand.

What we weight most: Trustpilot + Google reviews

Among editorial criteria, Trustpilot and Google Business review signals are heavily weighted. We look at score when we can cite a live page with an access date, review volume, recency and consistency, entity scope (company-wide vs men’s-hormone/TRT-specific profiles), and labeled secondary corroboration.

Honest TBD rule

We do not invent review scores. If we cannot confirm a Trustpilot or Google rating on the live profile during our pass, we mark the signal TBD (verify live), or note a dated secondary roundup with an explicit verify-on-Trustpilot/Google caveat. A TBD does not disqualify a program; review weight for that row is provisional.

What review signals are not

  • Not clinical outcome evidence
  • Not a substitute for clinician judgment
  • Not proof that enclomiphene or TRT is appropriate for any reader
  • Not Google Play / App Store ratings as a primary ranking input

Full criteria set (≥10 programs)

Every Wave ranking lists at least ten named programs. Beyond reviews, we weigh Frame A criteria for men’s hormone telehealth (TRT and TRT-alternatives such as enclomiphene):

  1. Clinical oversight — licensed clinician model and ongoing access
  2. Labs before/during care — required labs and follow-up testing
  3. Modality honesty — TRT vs SERM/enclomiphene vs both
  4. Pricing clarity — membership, labs, medication separated
  5. State/access footprint
  6. Education & informed consent
  7. Follow-up care design
  8. Compliance posture — compounded ≠ FDA-approved disclosure

Programs that hide modality, show prices only after a quiz wall, or market compounded products like FDA-approved brands without disclosure are deferred or ranked lower.

How review weight interacts with other Frame A criteria

Reviews are heavily weighted, not the only factor. A program with an outstanding Trustpilot profile can still rank lower if public pages are opaque on modality, pricing, labs, or compounding status. Strong Frame A transparency helps when review signals are TBD—but cannot invent a score.

Company-wide caveat: Several telehealth brands carry a single Trustpilot domain mixing weight-loss, sexual health, and hormone programs. We cite the domain we can verify, label it company-wide when applicable, and do not pretend a mixed profile is a men’s-hormone-only scorecard.

Compounded medications

Wherever compounded options appear: compounded medications are not FDA-approved and have not undergone FDA review for safety, effectiveness, or manufacturing quality the way FDA-approved brand products have. Brand path ≠ compounded path. Ask a licensed clinician which product status applies.

Frame A scope note

This methodology powers Best Online Men’s Hormone Clinics lists including both exogenous TRT pathways and TRT-alternatives such as enclomiphene. It is not an exogenous-testosterone-only shopping list.

Limitations

  • Public pages and review profiles change; verify live checkout, eligibility, and Trustpilot/Google pages
  • State lists and promo pricing shift frequently
  • Rankings are educational maps of public claims and review signals—not clinical endorsements
  • We may have a financial affiliation with some entities featured; rankings remain editorial
  • Rank order is not predetermined and can change when evidence changes
